Assembling Landing gear fins.
Parts needed:
- 2 x Aluminum spacers
- 2 x Fiber glass fins
- 4 x M3 washer
- 4 x M3 screw, 6mm
Mount 2 x spacers on either of the fiberglass fins with screws. Use washers on screws. Use hole as shown in the picture.
Mount other fiberglass plate on top of spacers and use another washers/screws to lock plates properly. Repeat building for all other landing gears. (In Quads x 4, Hexas x 6)
Next take one of the arm and motor mount plate, use 2 x 20mm long screws on all arms to lock motormount on it's place. Motormounts only fit on one end of the arm tubes. While mounting keep in mind that there should be 3 holes facing downwards on arm and 2 upwards. Use washers with screws.
Lock from below screws with washers and nylon lock nuts. Make sure that your armtube is correct way, there should be one small hole free on end of the arm. Tighten nuts properly.
Place one of the springs provided with the kit trough small remaining free hole at end of arm tube.
Put one M3 x 20mm long screw through holes middle on landing gear fin and make screw go trough loop on other end of the spring. Use washer on screw.
Swing landing gear as in picture for easier placement.
Rotate landing gear along arm to right. After landing gear has been rotated, mount holes should be aligned easily.
Put one M3 x 20 mm screw through mount holes on landing gear and aluminum arm.
Turn whole arm upside down to make sure that holes are aligned properly on both sides.
Lock both screws (spring and mount screw) with washer and locknut
Tighten mount screw properly but not too tight.
Test if landing gear can move, mount screw needs to be tight enough but landing gear should open and still move easily when pressing from bottom of the gear.
Repeat steps to remaining arm's.
